-
Watch every play run
Tap play and the whole play animates: motion first, then the snap, then every route at once. Slow it down to teach timing, or speed it up for a quick review.
-
Print wristbands and play sheets
Numbered wristband cards sized to your wristband window, full-page play sheets and call sheets. Print from your phone or save a PDF.
-
One link for the whole team
Text one link and every player sees every play, animated, on any phone. No app, no account, and nothing uploaded: the plays ride inside the link.

Questions coaches ask
Is Football Play Designer free?
Yes. Football Play Designer: Coach is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.
Does it work for flag football and tackle football?
Both. Pick 4v4, 5v5, 6v6 or 7v7 flag, or 6-man, 8-man, 9-man or 11-man tackle, and you get a field with the right width, hash marks and, for flag, the rush line.
How do my players see the plays?
Send one team link by text, email or your team chat. Players tap it and see every play, animated, in their phone browser. They don’t need the app or an account, and the plays travel inside the link, so nothing is uploaded to a server.
Can I print wristband play cards?
Yes. Print numbered wristband cards sized to your wristband window, full-page play sheets, or a call sheet grouped by situation. You can print straight from your iPhone or iPad or save a PDF.
Does it work on iPad and on Android?
The app runs on iPhone and iPad. The team links your players open work in any modern phone browser, Android included.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Playbooks live on your iPhone or iPad and the app works offline, so you can draw and call plays at a field with no signal. Players need a connection to open a team link.
Are my players’ names shared?
Only if you choose. Team links leave out player names and jersey numbers unless you turn on “Include player names.”
Your playbook stays yours
Playbooks live on your iPhone or iPad. Team links carry the plays inside the link itself, so they never pass through our servers.
